Pair of identical terraced houses. c.1810-20 (altered mid C.19), as part
of J.T. Parkinson's Montagu Square Portman Estate development. Stock
brick with channelled stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4
storeys and basement. Each 2 windows wide. Doorways to left with
panelled doors and fanlights. Ground floor canted bay windows of 3 sash
lights. Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under flat gauged
arches. Continuous, cast iron balcony, carried round bays and over
doorways, on 1st floor. Crowning stucco cornice and blocking course.
Cast iron area railings with urn finials. Included for group value only.
