Terraced houses with later shops. c.1810-20, as part of J.T. Parkinson's
Montagu Square Portman Estate development and of similar build to Nos. 42
to 50 (even) q.v. Stock brick; concealed slate roofs. 4 storeys.
2-window wide fronts. Mid C.19, altered or mid C.20 shop fronts. Upper
floors have recessed sashes, a few with glazing bars, under flat gauged
arches and with stucco reveals. Parapet with stone coping. Included for
group value only.
