Row of houses. Circa 1840. Stucco. Slate mansards. 4 storeys, attic mansard
and basement. Each house 2 windows wide (but No 16 of 4 windows wide) with 2
window return to right. Nos 12 to 15 with convex fronts above channelled ground
floor. Doric projecting porches with square antae. Panelled doors.
Square-headed windows, architraved to first and second floors; and corniced to
first floor. Sashes, mostly plate glass. Continuous cast iron balcony to first
floor. Dentil cornice above third floor. Cast iron railings. No 235 with
return to left.
