Block of terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco. Low slate mansards. 3 storeys,
attics and basement. Each house 2 to 3 windows wide. Rounded corners with
corner windows to east and west. West Halkin Street elevation - a balanced
composition, the end bays to each side break forward slightly with giant
pilasters linking first and second floor. Channelling to ground floor.
Entrances to outer bays of recessed centre. Architraves to central windows and
those to projecting bays; first floor windows corniced. Sashes, casements,
glazing bars. Ground floor with wide square headed doors with side lights.
First floor continuous balcony, returning around curved corners. Cornice above
second floor; subsidiary cornice and parapet above attic. Cast iron spearhead
area railings. Elevations to side and rear also of interest.
