Horse Guards.
Guardhouses, railings and gates. c.1750-60, completing Kent's Horse Guards
composition as executed by Vardy and Robinson. Portland stone and wrought
iron. Tall railings and clustered spike gate piers and gates,flanked by 2 stone
pediment-gabled pavilions as mounted guardhouses with large semicircular archways.
