Terrace house. 1912-13. Portland stone faced front, slate roof. Free style
Renaissance - C17 detailing. Four storeys, basement and dormered mansard. Doorway to
left hand of ground floor with moulded serpentine arched head; canted bay window to
right with architraved lights and carved enrichment to frieze. Full width of first
floor taken up by 4 French windows framed by Corinthian pilasters supporting
entablature with densely carved but delicate ornament to frieze. Leaded casements of
upper floors set in panels framed by thin pilasters. Entablature and balustraded
parapet. Cast iron balcony across first floor, and area railings of similar style. A
tautly composed,carefully detailed elevation.
