Terraced town house. 1770s Portland Estate development, probably by John White.
Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor; slate roof. 4 storeys and
basement. 3-window side astylar front. Broad semicircular arched doorway with
stucco rustication and Coade guilloche patterned imposts; panelled door, sidelights
and fanlight in plain Venetian composition. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged
arches to upper floors. Plat band over ground floor stuccowork. Parapet with
coping. Scroll pattern cast iron Victorian balcony across 1st floor. Plumbed
spike finials to area railings. Interior retains good features with stone
staircase with wrought iron balustrade, plasterwork and statuary marble
chimneypieces; etc.
