End of terrace house with shop. c.1810-20 Portman Estate development. Stock brick, stuc-
coed ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 2 windows wide with
2-window return to Upper Montagu Street. Altered doorway to right and inserted display
window. Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under flat gauged arches. Altered
C19 shop front to return. Stuccowork finished off with plat band at 1st floor level.
Crowning stucco cornice and blocking course. Cast iron area railings with urn finials
to York Street.
