Terraced house. c.1810-20 Portman Estate development, of same build as
Nos. 39, 41 and 45 q.v. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor;
concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 2 windows wide.
Semicircular arched doorway to right; panelled door with reeded jambs and
head, plain fanlight. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged arches to upper
floors but altered on 1st floor. Stuccowork finished off with plat band
at 1st floor level. Parapet with coping. Cast iron Gothick patterned
balcony across 1st floor. Cast iron area railings with urn finials.
