Terraced house. c.1810-20, Portman Estate development of same build as
Nos. 39 to 43 q.v. Stock brick, channelled stucco ground floor;
concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 2 windows wide.
Semicircular arched doorway to left; panelled door with reeded jambs and
head under patterned fanlight. Recessed glazing bar sashes under flat
gauged arches to upper floors. Stuccowork finished off with plat band at
1st floor level. Parapet with coping. Cast iron geometric patterned balcony,
with balusters standards, across lst floor. Cast iron area railings with urn finials.
