Corner terraced house. c.1810-20, associated with J.T. Parkinson's
Montagu Square Portman Estate development. Stock brick with stuccoed
ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 4 windows
wide (2 blind) and 2 window return to Upper Montagu Street. Semicircular
arched doorway in 2nd bay from right; panelled door with fluted jambs and
head under plain fanlight. Recessed glazing bar sashes, under flat gauged
arches to upper floors. Stuccowork finished off with plat band at 1st
floor level. Parapet with coping to both fronts. Cast iron, Gothick
patterned balcony to Upper Montagu Street 1st floor. Cast iron area
railings with urn finials.
