Residential building for cathedral clergy. 1895 to c1902. Bentley. Red brick, Portland stone dressings, green slate roof. Two storeys, semi-basement, attic and attic mansard. Six main bays, that to left consisting of five storey tower-like projection, with low pyramidal roof. Other bays almost symmetrical treatment with central projecting porch with gothic columns and barrel roof, outer bays of three windows each, inner bays have paired windows with unifying thermal windows over. Square-headed windows, sashes, glazing bars, with segmental reveals above; first floor windows architraved, and first floor wrought-iron balcony to centre three bays. Cornice above first floor. Pilaster strips between attic windows. Wrought-iron railings of original design. Return facade to left.

Interiors not inspected.

Forms a group with Diocesan Hall, qv, and The Metropolitan Cathedral Church of the Most Precious Blood, Ashley Gardens, qv.
