Pair of terrace houses. c.1722. Brown brick with red brick dressings to
flanks and windows, tiled roofs. 3 storeys, basements and dormered
mansards. Each front 3 windows wide. Doorways to right with panelled
doors in wooden architrave cases with flat hoods on consoles. Flush framed
glazing bar sashes under flat gauged arches, the 1st and 2nd floor windows
with red brick eared aprons below sills. Parapet with coping. Wrought
iron area railings with urn finials. Part of an exceptionally well
preserved enclave of early C.18 housing together with Cowley and Lord North
Streets q.v.
