Pair of terrace houses incorporating entrance passage to Goodwin's Court qv. Late C18.
No 23 of yellow stock brick and No 24 of multi-coloured stocks, tiled roofs. 3 storeys
and dormered mansards. Each front 1 window wide, No 24 slightly broader and with 2
dormers. Ground floor of No 23 has mid C20 inserted bowed shop window to match those
of Goodwin Court whilst No 24 has entrance passage to Court on left and the frame of
an early to Mid C19 shop front with original square headed shop doorway with panelled
door and fanlight but bowed shop window inserted as in Goodwin's Court, bracketed cornice
overall. Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under segmental arches. Parapet
with coping. Part of Goodwin's Court (qv) and New Row (qv) development.
