A house of 1720-23 remodelled by (Sir) Jeffry Wyatt (Wyatville) in 1821 for himself.
Stucco faced. Corner site on 4 storeys. Inset bowed corner with shallow leaded dome.
Ground floor with altered wooden Ionic columned shop front with entrance in bow.
Revealed glazing bar sash windows in shallow moulded surrounds. Moulded cornice and
blocking course over second floor with breaks over broad panelled pilasters to right
and in corner return of bow. Interior remodelled by Wyatville including his segmental
vaulted gallery to rear (now separate flat), but retaining the original staircase
with twisted and fluted Banisters Wyatville's residence throughout his career 1804-
Survey of London XL.
