Terrace house. Mid to late C18 with some C19 alterations. Stucco faced, slate roof.
Five storeys, top floor a rebuild of mansard attic. Three plus one window bays, right
hand slightly recessed. Original bracketed cornice at third floor level. Mid C20
shops to ground floor. Sash windows no glazing bars, architraves with bracketed
pediments to those on first floor. Interior retains open string stone staircase with
wrought iron balustrade. First floor front drawing room has carved wood chimneypiece
and enriched plaster ceiling, the cartouche probably a c.1900 addition, C18 doors and
doorcases, statuary marble chimney piece, carved wood chimney piece probably reset to
rear first floor room etc.
