Terrace house. Mid to late C18. Brown brick slate roof. Four storeys and attic.
Three windows wide. Later C20 shop front to ground floor. Moulded architraves to
revealed sashes, those on first floor with pulvinated friezes and pediments, those on
second floor with consoles to sills. Interior has vestibule with fluted Ionic
pilasters and staircase hall with late C19 altered wrought iron scroll and straight
banisters to shaped cut string stone stairs; enriched plaster ceilings to ground and
first floor rooms, carved wooden chimney piece in ground and first floor back rooms.
In basement a reset late medieval chimney-piece with 4 centred arch and chamfered and
stopped jambs with Victorian figure sculpture added to lintel and cresting.
