Nonconformist chapel. 1864-5. WF Poulton. Stock brick, some red brick and some
stone dressings. Italian Romanesque style. Two storeys and attic. Elevation to Buckingham Gate: gabled facade with recessed triple arched central porch, with graduated arcading above; all having decorative shafting. Tower to right with coupled arched windows, uppermost stage added C20 in different style and colour. Much brick polychromy. Return to right with 2 tiers of arched windows. Interior reported by Pevsner to be of particular interest; nearly oval, with two tiers of galleries and large roof span.
