Town house. Mid C18. Terrace front to street but east garden front as well. Some
early and mid C19 alterations. Brick with rusticated stucco ground floor. Three
storeys, basement and slated mansard with dormers. Three windows. Enriched Victorian
scroll plat band below second floor and stone cyma bracketed cornice below parapet.
Stone architraves to windows, the first floor one, above C19 Corinthian columned porch
to left, is a Palladian window enriched with extra ornament in mid C19. The east
return to garden is of 5 + 1 windows, the centre advanced and pedimented, cornice and
Victorian scroll as on street front. First floor of centrepiece has unaltered Ionic
columned Palladian window. Ground floor stucco channelled and struck to window
arches. Early C19 cast iron verandah with geometric pattern balustrade as first floor
balcony. Rare case of side garden elevation surviving.
