Terraced town house. c.1750-53. Stuccoed and altered mid to late
C19; slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 5
windows wide. Elaborately modelled ground floor with enclosed porch
to right; rusticated and vermiculated surrounds to windows, sashes,
no glazing bars. 1st floor windows have pediments. Main entablature
with guilloche frieze and bracketed cornice. Parapet with cast iron
cresting. Polygonal dormers. Highly ornate wrought iron railings to
basement area and to 1st floor balcony. L.C.C. plaque commemorates
residence of 5th Earl of Rosebery.
