Modest terrace house with former pub premises. Latter part of C18,
altered in the 1920s. Stuccoed, tiled roof. 3 storeys and dormered
mansard. 3 windows wide (2 + 1) with 2 window return to Hay's Mews.
Channelled ground floor built out for former pub early C19 with
architrave doorcase with ornate console brackets to cornice to right
and wide window to left of 3 glazing bar sash lights. Upper floors
have flush framed glazing bar sashes. Plain coping to parapet.
Interior refurbished and decorated by Arthur J. Davis of Mewes and
Davis who lived here 1925-36.
