Terrace house. c. 1770. Brown brick with stuccoed ground floor,
slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. Symmetrical 3
window front with 2 window return to Curzon Street. The centre bay
of main front is advanced with early C20 corniced bank doorway on
ground floor, Venetian group of 3 windows to 1st floor and similar to
2nd floor, but with the centre window flat instead of semicircular
arched. Flanking bays have early C20 glazing bar sashes for bank,
and on upper floors sashes without glazing bars under flat gauged
arches. Modillion bracket cornice and parapet with coping.
Balconette to arched window on 1st floor of advanced bay. Cast iron
area railings. Important corner site flanking entrance to
Chesterfield street from Curzon Street.
