Part of terrace of houses. Planned 1828, started about 1835. Stucco. Slate
mansard to some houses. Roofs not visible to others. No 14 set forward slightly
with paired giant pilasters to first and second floors. 3 storeys, attic and
basement. Nos 19 and 23 with extra storey, Nos 14, 16 and 21 with mansard. Each
house 2 windows wide. Channelling to ground floor. Square headed entrance. Nos
19 to 23 inclusive with projecting Doric porches. First floor balconies of
anthemion pattern. Square headed windows, sashes, glazing bars. French casements
to ground floor. Cornice above second floor; subsidiary cornice above third
floor. Cast iron spearhead railings. Return to right of architectural interest.
Integral part of planned development.
