Pair of terrace houses. c. 1730-50, altered early to mid C19.
Stuccoed, slate roofs. 5 storeys and basements. Each 3 windows
wide. No 43 has a stuccoed columned porch to left. No 44 has
stucco architrave doorcase to right with cornice on consoles.
Revealed sash windows without glazing bars in architrave surrounds.
Continuous cornice over 3rd floor, the parapet with secondary
cornice. No 43 has a stucco balustraded balcony to 1st floor.
No 44 has a cast iron balcony to 1st floor.
