Town mansion. 1794-96 by Samuel Wyatt, altered early C19 and rebuilt
internally 1958-59. Stuccoed, slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and
dormered attics. 7 windows to Cleveland Row in a rhythm of 4 and 3
with the 3 bays nearest Green Park slightly advanced and pedimented;
return to Park with bow of 3 windows. Ground floor has banded rusti-
cation. Entrance, in recessed part, is arched and coved with radial
glazed semicircular fanlight and double panelled doors. Square headed
revealed sash windows, no glazing bars, those on 1st floor with
pediments. Broad bow through storeys to Park elevation with 3 sash
windows each floor. Cornices at 1st and 2nd floor levels, main
modillion cornice and balustraded parapet. 1st floor cast iron balcony
to bow facing Park.
