Pair of semidetached houses. Circa 1840. Stucco. Slate hipped roof to eaves.
2 storeys and basement. No 53 of 3 windows wide. No 58 of 2 windows wide to
Clifton Hill (1 blind) with entrance to right hand return. Entrance to No 53
in projecting pilastered porch. Entrances to both with iron and glass later C19
canopies, that to No 58 with openwork cast iron supports. Square headed
architraved sashed windows, margin glazing to upper floor. Bracketed eaves.
Continuous ground floor cast iron balcony returning to Abbey Road facade.
