Pair of houses and gateway. Mid C19. Brick, stuccoed. Roof concealed. 3
storeys and basement, 4 bays arranged 1.2.1 with slight central breakforward.
Narrow side bays contain entrances and are approached by a flight of steps.
4-panel doors with overlight under cornice on consoles. Sash windows with
glazing bars or margin lights, except 4-pane sash to ground floor of No 4, in
architraves. Pediments on consoles to ground floor windows and cornices to 1st
floor windows. Floor bands and cornice. Railed basement. No 5 has a gateway to
front garden of stucco piers and lintel.
