Corner bank. c.1850-60. Channelled stucco; concealed slate roof. Rich
Italianate arcaded casino design. Single tall storey. 6-window wide
arcaded with 2 main window bays flanking centre pair and narrow end
windows; one main entrance bay and narrow window to splayed Edgware Road
return arcade. Architraved doorway recessed in arcade bay with inset Ionic
columns; the main window bays to Connaught Street with Ionic pilasters.
Deep impost entablature to arcade run in over door and window heads with
lunettes above; the channelling struck to arcade arches with vermiculated
voussoir pattern and keystones. Modillion crowning cornice and balustraded
parapet with taller dies.
