Corner terraced town house with elevation to Manchester Square. c.1776-88;
part of the Duke of Manchester's development on Portman land. Brown brick;
concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 4 windows wide plus 2 blind
bays, with 3-window return to Manchester Square. Central doorway with wood
doorcase of half pilasters, architrave and cornice. Recessed sashes, some
glazing bars intact, under flat gauged arches. Elevation to square has 1st
and 2nd floor plat bands and cornice over 2nd floor, attic storey with
coped parapet. Duke Street front has 1st floor plat band returned and
parapet with coping. Part of ground floor to left adapted as shop. Cast
iron area railings with urn finials.
