Terraced town house. c.1776-88, as part of the Duke of Manchester's
development of Manchester Square on Portman land. Multi-coloured stock
brick; concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 4 windows wide.
Central doorway with panelled door and radial patterned rectangular
fanlight in wooden architrave doorcase with Ionic pilasters, fluted frieze
and dentil cornice. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged red brick arches.
Parapet with coping. C.20 area railings. Interior main front rooms retain
good ceilings in the Adam manner and geometrical staircase with delicate
wrought iron balustrade; etc.
