Terrace of houses. Early to mid C19. Stucco. Slate mansards. Centre pair and
end houses set forward slightly. Channelling to ground floor (except 50, 52 and
48). Doric projecting porches. 3 storeys, attic, attic mansard and basement.
Each house 3 windows wide. First floor balustraded balcony. Nos 38, 40, 42 and
46 with modern iron replacements. Architraves to windows except 38, 40 and 42,
where apparently removed. First floor cornices except 38, 40 and 42. Sashes.
Some glazing bars. First floor French casements. Dentil cornice above second
floor. Subsidiary cornice to attic. Parapet. Cast iron spearhead area
railings.
