Grand terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco. Roofs not visible. Channelling to
ground floor. 5 storeys and basement. Each house 3 windows wide. Projecting
Doric porches continuous first floor balustraded balcony. Square headed
windows, each house with windows grouped together. Windows to first floor
flanked by Ionic half columns; to second floor with arched reveals flanked by
Ionic half columns; to third floor with unifying cornice and central pediment;
fourth floor treated as frieze with garlands between the windows. Sashes, plate
glass. Rich dentil cornice above fourth floor. Slab chimneys. Cast iron area
railings.
