Row of houses. Early C19 altered. Yellow brick, channelled stucco to ground
floor. Roofs not visible (Nos 45, 51 and 53 with slate mansards). 3 storeys and
basement, 2 windows wide (Nos 27 to 35, 47, 49, 55 and 57 of 4 storeys). Round
headed entrances and ground floor windows. Square headed windows above, gauged
heads, sashes, mostly with glazing bars. Stucco architraves to Nos 27, 33, 45
and 47. Cast iron anthemion pattern balconettes (except to Nos 27 and 35 of
different design, Nos 59 and 61 C20, and No 45, without). Parapet. Cast iron
area railings.
