Dwelling, formerly Pimlico Literary Institute. 1830. J. P. Gandy-Deering.
Stucco. Roof not visible. 5 bays. 2 to 3 storeys. Central 3-bay Greek Doric
portico in antis with triglyph frieze. Twin pedimented entrances with portals
projecting to each side beneath portico. Outer bay to each side taller with
rusticated to ground floor; tripartite windows to ground and first floor, the
latter pedimented; all windows square headed; cornice above second floor. Plaque
above central entrance with Latin inscription.
