Terrace of houses. Mid C19. Portland stone faced. Northern facade with centre
and end houses breaking forward slightly. Five storeys plus basements and some
with mansard attics. Each house three windows wide. Entrances to right within
Corinthian projecting porches. Channelling to ground floor. Continuous cast
iron balcony to first floor. Windows to first floor pedimented; second floor
windows corniced with segmental heads. Architraves to all windows. Some sashes,
some casements. Plate glass. Modillion cornice above fourth floor. Cast iron
area railings. South facade also of architectural interest. Part of coherent
development on four sides of garden square.
