Terrace house. 1804-07 built at same time but separately from Nos,44 to 48 qv. Stock
brick, concealed roof. 4 storeys and basement. Ground floor has had display window
inserted but to the right is the original semicircular arched doorway containing a
door of 6 fielded and flush panels, with patterned fanlight, in a reeded frame
flanked by pilastered strips. Upper floors have recessed sash windows, glazing bars
intact to 2nd and 3rd floors, with casements to 1st floor, under flat gauged red
brick arches. Parapet with coping. Cast iron window guards to 1st floor. Cast iron
area railings with urn finials. Included for group value only.
