Former mission house and school. 1860 by Arthur Blomfield. Stock brick
with red brick bands and stone dressings, tiled roofs. High Victorian
Gothic in irregular composition. 4 storeys and gabled attics. 7 window
wide block on Floral Street with adjoining 4 window wide splayed block and
2 window entrance extension to corner. Curved arched main entrance with
pedimented drip string over. Square headed and pointed recessed sash
windows, some with relieving arches. Over entrance at 1st floor level is a
stone figure of Christ in a canopied niche. The main gables contain rose
