Nos 34, 35 and 36

Office premises. 1913-14 by Leonard Stokes. Steel framed building
with Portland stone front, slate roof. Free style with very few
period references and a maximum of glazing. 5 storeys and a large
dormered mansard. 5 bays wide. Flanking pedimented entrances
with staircase windows grouped above. Central 3 bays have low, deep
arcading to ground floor and large tripartite windows to upper floors,
whilst the 4th floor forms an attic with almost continuous glazing.
