Corner block of 4 terraced town houses, thrown into one as club premises.
c.1800 Portman Estate development. Multicoloured stock brick with
channelled stucco ground floors; concealed slate roofs, except for northern
house. 4 storeys and basement, with added dormered mansard to northernmost
former house. 3-window wide fronts. Doorways altered to windows, with
main entrance in Upper Berkeley Street front, with Tuscan columned stucco
porch. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged arches to upper floors. Plat
band finishing off ground floor stuccowork; crowning stucco cornices and
blocking courses. 1st floor cast iron window guards and full width
bracketed balcony to former corner house. Cast iron urn finialed area
railings to both fronts.Included for group value only.
