Terrace house. Late C.17 but altered with 1930s refaced front. Black
polished tile facing, concealed roof. 4 storeys and basement. 3 windows
wide. Doorway to right in 1930s stylised architrave. Plate glass square
headed metal casements but retaining original fenestration rhythm and
proportions. Parapet with coping. The interior much altered but retains
original closed string dog leg staircase with turned balusters and square
newels. Home of Sir Joshua Reynolds (G.L.C. plaque).
