Church. 1849-51 by Sir George Gilbert Scott, gutted by fire 1982.
Ragstone with ashlar dressings C.13 Gothic style. Massive and imposing
south tower, as main entrance, with angle buttresses, originally intended
to be finished off with spire. The gutted interior with aisles flanking
nave, had fine fittings. The interior and fabric restored 1984.
