Row of large houses. Circa 1860. Thomas Cundy III. Portland stone. Mansards
of shaped slates. "French Renaissance" style. End houses set forward slightly
with rusticated quoins. 4 storeys. Each 3 windows wide. Projecting Ionic
porches. Channelling to ground floor. Arched windows to first floor. Other
windows square headed with architraves. Continuous cast iron balcony to first
floor. Balconies and window guards above. Attic windows pedimented. Sashes.
Plate glass. French casements to first floor. Heavy console cornice. Slab
chimneys. Cast iron area railings.
