Terraced town house. 1726 with early to mid C19 alterations. Brown brick with
stuccoed banded rustication to ground floor, slate roof. Four storeys, basement and
dormered mansard. Four windows. Moulded brick cornice at third floor level, parapet
with coping. Ionic column stuccoed porch to right, added in 1796. Sashes in shallow
reveals under segmental red brick arches. Wrought iron C18 area railings with urn
finials. Interior: first floor front rooms have decorated plaster ceilings, that to
left with Rococo motifs and bracketed cornice, that to right with bold wreath surround
and swags and moulded heads to the panelled fields etc. Staircase removed but the
compartment walls and ceiling retain their plasterwork etc.
