Pair of terrace houses. Mid to late C18. Brown brick, slate roofs; stuccoed ground floor. Four storeys, basement, dormers in slated mansard. Three windows each. Bracketed course to third floor and moulded cornice to parapet. Round headed doorways to left, with side lights and fanlights. Revealed sash windows, no glazing bars, with gauged flat arches. Continuous c1800 cast iron balconies to first floor.

Following work conducted in 2018, an ornate plasterwork ceiling of probable mid-C18 was uncovered in the rear first-floor room of No.17.
