Terraced house. Mid C18. Remodelled c.1900. Dark stock brick, tuck pointing, slate
roof. Five storeys,basement and mansard attic. Four windows wide. Stone cornice to
third floor. Canted bay window on right hand side. Moulded architraves to sash
windows, glazing bars. Projecting stone Ionic porch to right. Interior includes a
semi circular staircase with wrought iron balustrade and brass handrail of c.1900 and
the first floor suite of rooms decorated at the same time in an ornate white and gold
"Louis XVI" style etc. Now the Naval Club.
