Terrace of pairs of houses with linking screen walls and front garden walls with
gateways. 1840s. Brick, stuccoed. Welsh slate roofs. Each pair: 3 storeys, 4
bays with 2 storey recessed single-bay entrance wings to sides. Nos 6-16 have
entrances incorporated in 3-bay pilastered screen with central wide round keyed
arched and dentilled cornice and balustrade at 1st floor level. 4-panel doors
with fanlights. Central bays: ground floor sill band. Casement windows in
architraves, pulvinated friezes and cornices on consoles. First floor sill
band. Sashes in architraves with cornices. 2nd floor sill band. Sashes with
glazing bars. Modillioned overhanging eaves. Hipped roof. Stucco front garden
walls which are ramped up to gateways with tiled lintels.
