Bridge. c.1837. For Manchester and Bolton Railway. Engineer, Jesse Hartley. Rock-faced stone and ashlar. Elliptical arch with keys, that to north with letters:
B/I E, that to south with crest (unidentifiable animal). Balustrade with square section balusters and some inserted brickwork.
