Public House. C17 and early C19. Dressed stone and quoins,
stone slate roofs. 2 storey, 5 bays; the 1st bay projects,
is canted and taller, end 2 bays recessed and lower. 1st
bay has 1:4:1-light casements and round-headed cellar
entrance. 2nd and 3rd bays have ovolo-mullioned windows of
4 lights and one of 3 lights to ground floor of 2nd bay
which has 2-light end window in former entrance. Central
C20 porch to entrance up steps. End 2 bays have 3-light
window, and casement in former entrance to 2nd bay. 1st bay
has traces of entrance. 1st floor has 2-light blocked
ovolo-mullioned window and boarded 2-light window and
possible 2 blocked lights. Cross-axial and gable-end
stacks. Rear lean-to extensions; left gable-end has blind
windows. Fire place with corbelled stone lintel.
