C18 buildings associated with coaching inn, remodelled at several later dates. Red
brick. 2 Storeys. 4 windows in all to street front, which ie irregular: left-
hand one louvred, second a sash with glazing bars, the other 2 in advanced section
(No 8). To right of no 2 is 1½-storey return wing with one window in blind elliptical.
arch. Left-hand return front of no 6 presents 2 gables with projecting eaves
and advanced ground storey with c 1800 doorway, having a moulded and fielded
panel door in case with consoles and delicate Gothic panels. Symmetrical garden
front to no 6, with 3 glazing bar sash windows.
