Footbridge. 1901. For the 1st Earl of Ellesmere. Wrought-
iron with dressed stone abutments. Segmental-arched iron
girders support a cobbled deck on U-shaped secondary beams.
Cast-iron posts support the 4 rails which form the side
walls. The abutments have side walls which sweep outwards;
they have triangular passing places, round terminating piers
and coping stones.
